On Sun Princess, guests can make reservations for Spellbound, Princess’ newly launched “Extraordinary Experience.” Nestled behind a non-descript door just off the ship’s atrium area, guests will find Victorian-inspired themed rooms and a magician’s theater.
Spellbound blends the world of magic with the art of mixology. Guests who sign up for the experience will first enjoy a dinner with a special menu, followed by an evening that features incredible feats of magic from talented Magic Castle sponsored magicians.
Guests can expect “surprises” in the themed Spellbound rooms. Plus, tasty theatrical cocktails will be delivered by sleight-of-hand servers. The Meandering Traveler experienced this earlier this year and can recommend it!

The “Apprentice” Package, priced at $275 per person, includes several special inclusions. One is an exclusive “Meet the Magicians” welcome reception. Another is a fun-filled farewell social.
Apprentices (aka package participants) will also be granted early access to seating for performances in the Princess Arena. They’ll also receive special commemorative merchandise.
Of most interest for many magic fans, though, is this package’s guided tour of Spellbound with Erika Larsen. She’s president of Magic Castle Enterprises and a member of the famed Larsen family of magicians.
Located in Hollywood, CA, Magic Castle is a mecca of magic. This Victorian mansion in the Hollywood Hills also serves as home to the Academy of Magical Arts. As a private clubhouse, accessible only by members and their guests, Magic Castle has cultivated the careers of magicians and illusionists for 60-plus years.

The top-tier “Conjurer” Package is available for $795 per person. In addition to all Apprentice and Enchanter package benefits, there are plenty of other inclusions.
For instance, this package offers a magic class for beginning, intermediate or advanced students; it will be taught by a world-renowned magician.
In addition, guests will receive an invitation to attend an intimate Spellbound cocktail soirée with Michael Carbonaro and the cast of Conjurer’s Cruise. They’ll also enjoy a Bridge tour with Sun Princess’ captain.
