What’s New for Seabourn in 2026? Eclipse, Asia, Alaska

For a pampering Seabourn voyage in Asia, Alaska, Europe and beyond, check out the ultra-luxury line’s new 2026 lineup. Seabourn Ovation, Seabourn Encore, Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Sojourn will explore 200 destinations within the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska/British Columbia, Japan, and Canada/New England.

Between March and December 2026, the vessels will take guests to nearly 40 countries. One highlight? Of the 50 distinctive itineraries, two unique voyages will give travelers the opportunity to view a total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026.

New to Seabourn: A Summary

The new 2026 Seabourn voyages are now on sale. Full itinerary details are available at this official Seabourn page. But here’s a bit of detail to pique your interest. If anything looks good for your vacation interests, talk with your personal travel planner.

With itineraries ranging from seven to 21 days, Seabourn will offer diverse experiences across multiple regions.

Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Sojourn will sail the Mediterranean between June and November 2026. They’ll call at destinations from Barcelona, Spain, to Istanbul, Turkey. They’ll also explore the British Isles, Iceland and the Norwegian Fjords.

Then they’ll cross the Atlantic Ocean to Canada and New England.

For the first time, Seabourn Encore will spend the entire summer in Alaska. Guests can book seven-day itineraries to explore the Last Frontier. In addition, the ship will operate in Japan during the peak spring blossoms and fall foliage periods.

The 600-passenger Seabourn Ovation will also offer two additional Southern Caribbean departures. Those voyages in late March 2026 will sail between Barbados and St. Maarten.

New to Seabourn for 2026

“Our new 2026 voyages were thoughtfully, well curated with our guests in mind,” stresses Natalya Leahy, president of Seabourn. She adds that they feature a great combination of Seabourn all-time favorites along with many new unique experiences.

New to Seabourn: Mediterranean Highlights

Guests can experience the private, yacht-like atmosphere of Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Sojourn while exploring 84 destinations across 15 countries in the Mediterranean. One highlight? Select voyages will call at St. Tropez, France; Taormina, Italy; and La Joliette in Marseille, France.

Seabourn SojournSeabourn Sojourn will sail to 59 ports in 17 countries during a series of 10-day itineraries. Those will explore the western Mediterranean between Barcelona, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Monte Carlo.

On August 7, 2026, the ship’s 10-Day “Spanish Gems & Solar Eclipse” voyage will depart roundtrip from Barcelona. What’s unique is the chance to view the total solar eclipse from the waters of the Balearic Sea. That will occur just before sunset on August 12, 2026.

Seabourn Quest: Seabourn Quest will visit 60 ports across 15 countries. For port collectors, one highlight is that the ship will offer a maiden call to Ceuta, Spanish Morocco.

In addition, it will sail on a series of seven-day voyages between Dubrovnik, Fusina (Venice), Istanbul, and Athens. Along the way, it will visit gorgeous small harbors and islands in Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, and Turkey.

Each of those sailings can be combined to make 14- or 21-day itineraries.

Quintessentially Seabourn

  • An Evening at Ephesus: At Kuşadasi, Turkey, guests will listen to a private concert amid spectacular ancient ruins under the stars.
  • Marina Day: Depending on weather and the captain’s discretion, guests will enjoy complimentary water sports.
  • Shopping with the Chef: Guests will stroll through regional markets with Seabourn’s onboard executive chef to see how the freshest ingredients are chosen. This unique experience is available in select destinations such as Barcelona, Spain; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Valletta, Malta; Corfu, Greece; and more.

Northern Europe: New to Seabourn

Guests can travel off the beaten path to destinations in Norway, Iceland, and the British Isles on board Seabourn Ovation. The ship will visit more than 70 destinations in 18 countries. Voyages will run from seven to 22 days.

From Scotland’s quaint towns and historic castles to the fjords of Norway, this region brims with culture and eco-beauty.

Seabourn Ovation will sail on two 14-day departures through fjords to Europe’s northernmost point, the North Cape. Those 2026 voyages will depart May 16 and June 13.

The June 13 departure coincides with the summer solstice. So, if you’re interested in seeing the Northern Lights, it’s a good option.

Rounding out Seabourn Ovation‘s Northern Europe season are several 14-day “Jewels Of The British Isles” voyages from Dover (London), England. The itineraries will include such destinations as Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Edinburgh, Scotland.

Also, they will call at smaller ports such as Oban, Scotland and Fishguard, Wales, also both in the U.K.

Solar Eclipse

The ship will also sail a 14-day “West Ireland Gems and Solar Eclipse” voyage, departing on August 8, 2026, from Dover (London), England, to Reykjavik, Iceland. The ship will visit unique ports in Western Ireland, including Galway and Killybegs.

Then the vessel will take a position off Ireland’s coast for viewing of the total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026. As part of the Seabourn Conversations program, Jane Green, a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, will educate guests.

Following that eclipse voyage, Seabourn Ovation will depart August 22, 2026, for a 22-Day “Fire & Ice Passage.” That itinerary from Iceland to Greenland and Atlantic Canada will conclude in New York City.

Japan, Asia and North Pacific Crossings

Across the globe, Seabourn Encore will visit 30 destinations across six countries between March and September 2026. The ship will sail through Japan at the height of spring flowers and cherry blossom seasonal festivities. Guests can choose from three 14-day roundtrip voyages from Yokohama (Tokyo). They feature overnight stays in Kobe, Maizuru, or Nagasaki.

Then, starting in October 2026, three 12-day voyages will sail between Yokohama (Tokyo) and Osaka. Those will highlight a different season — the vibrant autumn foliage of both Japan and South Korea.

These itineraries also include maiden calls to Sokcho in South Korea, and Beppu, Hososhima, and Toba in Japan. In select ports, guests can choose the “Shopping with the Chef” experiences.

Additionally, Seabourn Encore will offer 18- and 21-day “Pacific Passage” voyages between Japan and Alaska in April and September 2026. Check out the Japan voyages and activities here. 

New to Seabourn: Alaska and British Columbia

Seabourn Encore will venture to the “Great Land” in summer 2026 for the first time. The 2026 Alaska program features 27 departures ranging from seven to 15 days.

Between May and September, the ship will sail between Vancouver and Juneau, Alaska. Curated itineraries will focus on smaller port experiences, wildlife, breathtaking scenery and cultural traditions.

Guests will go ashore in such destinations as Sitka, Wrangell, Klawock and other spots. They’ll also travel to the Inian Islands, Hubbard Glacier, Glacier Bay National Park, and Misty Fjords National Monument.

In addition, they’ll visit Alert Bay and Prince Rupert in British Columbia (B.C.) While in Alaska or B.C., guests can choose unique activities from the Ventures by Seabourn program.

For instance, you might choose optional guided kayak or Zodiac tours, led by an expedition team.

Fall Foliage: Canada and New England

After its Northern Europe season, Seabourn Ovation will set sail for Canada and New England, arriving in time to enjoy the majestic fall foliage landscapes.

The ship will sail the St. Lawrence River for the first time. Between September and October, Seabourn’s five departures will take guests to coastal communities and Quebecois towns. The ship will also offer several overnight stays.

Choices? You might choose one of the three options:

  • A 12-day “Canada & New England Fall Foliage” cruise between Montreal and New York. Highlights include two full days in Quebec City and a stop in Bar Harbor, Maine.
  • The 12-day “Newfoundland & Gulf of St. Lawrence” voyage features an overnight in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
  • A 13-day “Atlantic Coast” voyage will sail from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to Miami, FL. This itinerary gives guests an overnight stay in Boston, MA.
