Have you heard about the new 2026 Tauck land tours in North America? We can’t wait to share them with you. These newly announced land tours include three creative, new ways — including “glamping” — to see the Old West.

They’ll explore national parks and other top sites in America’s western and southwestern regions. Also, for the first time in more than a decade, Tauck is heading back to Mesa Verde, CO.

Plus, there are appealing new land tours in Nova Scotia, Canada, and Mexico City and Oaxaca, Mexico.

Tauck 2026: Comfortable Glamping

Two of the new western U.S. tours will debut Tauck’s first-ever “glamping” experiences. Guests can enjoy those stays at Under Canvas West Yellowstone and/or ULUM Moab.

“We operated our very first tour in North America 100 years ago this summer,” explains Jennifer Tombaugh, Tauck’s CEO. “Since that time, we’ve never stopped innovating or improving our itineraries.”

So, for 2026, Tauck is raising the bar to introduce some truly fun and unique accommodations to help guests connect more deeply to the places they visit.

Tauck’s new eight-day “Paradise Valley, Yellowstone & the Tetons” itinerary kicks off with two nights at Sage Lodge in Montana’s Paradise Valley.

Then the tour heads for two nights at Under Canvas West Yellowstone. There, Tauck’s guests will stay in luxury safari-style tents near Yellowstone’s west entrance. Talk about blending outdoor immersion with modern comforts!

These glamping tents have private bathrooms, wood stoves and front porches. Anyone in the mood for stargazing?

While in Yellowstone, Tauck’s outings will take travelers to Mammoth Hot Springs, Norris Basin and Old Faithful. Travelers can learn about local wildlife at the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center and Teton Raptor Center.

Also, one evening highlight is a private firepit with live music. “Then, the tour will end with exploration of Grand Teton National Park and accommodations at The Cloudveil in Jackson Hole, WY,” says Shelby Steudle, president, Pavlus Travel.

“And tour guests can celebrate a fabulous vacation in true western fashion with a fun, included farewell dinner at the Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse,” she adds.

At press time, pricing started at $8,990 per person, double occupancy. Airfare is additional. Contact your personal travel planner for questions and to handle the booking. Then relax and anticipate a terrific vacation.

Tauck 2026: “Wild, Wild West Family Adventure”

In addition, families seeking a new 2026 Tauck Bridges trip to the American Southwest region should check out the eight-night “Wild, Wild West Family Adventure.” One highlight within this family-focused tour is three nights of luxury “glamping” at ULUM Moab.

What’s special? While there, families will enjoy glamping in suite-style tents with upscale amenities. Those include king-sized beds with Parachute linens and heated mattress pads.

Each tent will also feature a comfortable lounge area with queen-size sofa bed, wood burning stove, evaporative cooler, private deck, and ensuite bathroom with rain shower, sink and toilet.

During this family adventure, families will also explore cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde, hike in Arches National Park, and visit the Moab Giants dinosaur attraction.

Plus, the itinerary includes a horseback riding excursion, Colorado River rafting and a chuck wagon dinner in Durango, CO.

During this 2026 Tauck tour, guests will also stay at the Far View Lodge, which continues Tauck’s longstanding tradition of providing guests with inside-the-park accommodations whenever possible.

Marking Tauck’s return to Mesa Verde, this tour blends outdoor fun, cultural discovery, and family time in a spectacular setting.

At press time, pricing began at $6,590 per person, double occupancy. For the best pricing and perks, and with no service fee, contact your personal travel planner to learn more.

Back to Mesa Verde

The third new 2026 Tauck tour in the region, “Western Horizons: Mesa Vere to Moab,” will also feature an overnight at Mesa Verde’s Far View Lodge.

On this new nine-day journey through Utah and Colorado, guests can couple fascinating cultural experiences with scenic beauty. One highlight we’d love to take is included. It’s a ride on the historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.

“Tauck’s guests will also have opportunities for horseback riding and to unwind in Durango’s hot springs,” says Pavlus’ Steudle. A private tour of Mesa Verde will offer access to ancient cliff dwellings.

In Monument Valley, a Navajo-guided Jeep tour will explore sacred terrain, followed by visits to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The adventure will end in Moab with Colorado River rafting or a museum visit, and a farewell dinner.

At press time, pricing started at $5,990 per person, double occupancy. Airfare is additional.

Mexico and Nova Scotia

Also new from Tauck is “A Week in Mexico City and Oaxaca.” This eight-day cultural journey will explore Mexico’s history, art, and cuisine.

Top highlights include early access to the Diego Rivera Mural Museum, a private visit to artist Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul, and an after-hours tour of the Museum of Anthropology.

Guests will also visit Teotihuacan’s pyramids, Xochimilco’s floating gardens and Monte Alban.

“Travelers will also enjoy a hands-on alebrije-making demonstration and a cooking presentation at the school of chef Alejandro Ruiz Olmedo,” Pavlus’ Steudle adds. What’s an alebrije? Those are brightly colored Mexican folk-art sculptures of fantasy creatures.

At press time, prices for this Mexico tour began at $6,990 per person, double occupancy. Airfare is additional.

North to Canada: Tauck 2026

And finally, “A Week In Nova Scotia” is Tauck’s new eight-day land exploration of Canada’s picturesque seaside province. The tour starts with a welcome at Halifax’s Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21.

Guests will also visit Peggy’s Cove, UNESCO-listed Lunenburg, and a replica of the ship Hector in Pictou. That vessel is a facsimile of the one that first brought Scottish immigrants to Nova Scotia.

In addition, Tauck’s travelers will explore Alexander Graham Bell’s legacy in Baddeck, according to Pavlus’ Steudle. Other highlights include an immersive First Nations experience, a visit to the Highland Village Museum, and a living-history tour of the Fortress of Louisbourg.

Rounding out this tour is a whale-watching cruise on the Bay of Fundy and a visit to Grand-Pré. At press time, pricing, excluding airfare, began at $4,790 per person, double occupancy.

Tauck in North America

In total, Tauck, celebrating its 100th birthday this year, will offer 29 North America land tours in 2026, including four Tauck Bridges journeys designed for families. Tauck is also expanding both its Small Group journeys averaging 24 guests, and Even Smaller Group trips averaging just 15 guests per departure.

“In fact, for next year, the company estimates that more than 50 percent of all its North America land tour bookings will be on either Small Group or Even Smaller Group journeys,” says Steudle.

“That opens up a world of opportunities for those who prefer to tour with fewer people,” she explains. “So, use the helpful contact information below and we’ll assist!”
