Setting sail in 2026 or 2027, they combine two or more of Viking’s most popular itineraries. So, if you’d love to cruise in the future to the Mediterranean, United Kingdom, Ireland or Scandinavia, check out these voyages!
“These new voyages offer even more choices for guests who wish to extend their time abroad with one seamless itinerary,” says Torstein Hagen, Viking’s chairman and CEO.

New Viking Cruises in 2026 and 2027
“Jewels of the Mediterranean”
On this 15-day journey roundtrip from Civitavecchia (Rome), travelers will visit iconic destinations in Italy, Tunisia, Spain and France.

For instance, they’ll have options for strolling through Palermo’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Sicily and gazing at incredible Amalfi Coast scenery on the Italian coastline. They’ll also have opportunities to go exotic in exploring Tunisia’s vibrant La Goulette in North Africa.
More highlights? Viking’s guests will enjoy port calls at historic Valencia, Spain, glamorous Monte Carlo, Monaco, and colorful Sete, France.
Best of all, the ship will overnight in both Barcelona, Spain, and Livorno (Florence). That nicely allows for more time to explore ashore.
“Viking’s guests can head ashore for a savory dinner or perhaps participate in an evening cultural event,” says Shelby Steudle, president, Pavlus Travel. “It’s truly a great way to mix and mingle with the locals — diving deeper into local culture.”
“Spain, Portugal & the Mediterranean”
We love this itinerary as it’s 15 days sailing between Lisbon, Portugal, and Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy. A Viking 930-passenger, oceangoing ship will nearly circumnavigate the Iberian Peninsula.
Highlights will include a visit to Lisbon and options for touring Andalusia. Also on tap is a port call at Barcelona, home to the famous Sagrada Familia, the unfinished masterpiece of Antoni Gaudí.
Next, the ship will continue to France. Cruise guests can go ashore at Sete and Monte Carlo, Monaco.
Finally, the Viking ship will spend an overnight in Livorno (for Florence), Italy. It’s the perfect way to head out and view Renaissance treasures and architecture.
New Viking Cruises: “Iconic Western Europe”
During this 19-day journey between London, U.K., and Barcelona, cruise guests can do it all — immersing themselves in local culture, gazing at historic sites and admiring eco-beauty by land and sea.

For instance, in London, guests might visit the U.K.’s royal sites such as Buckingham Palace or the famous Tower of London. In Paris, museums and historic sites await.
One favorite stop for many guests will undoubtedly be Bordeaux, France. Guests will head out to stroll through local vineyards and sip and savor at local wineries!
Sailing along the Iberian Peninsula, the ship will call at Bilbao in northern Spain. During a port call at Portugal’s Porto, guests will see many public buildings with the region’s famed blue tiles (azulejos) and sample Douro River wines. Then it’s on to Lisbon, Portugal’s vibrant capital city.
In Spain, guests can also visit Seville and Granada, as well as bask on Mallorca’s beautiful beaches. They’ll also have an opportunity to visit the souk or other sites in exotic Tangier, Morocco.
New for 2027
“From Iberia to the Northern Lights”
On this 20-day journey in 2027 from Barcelona to Tromso, Norway, guests will visit the Iberian Peninsula during its quieter season. It’s also a time when Spain is experiencing a mild winter climate, pleasant for touring.
Among the draws? “Viking guests will head out to explore the legacy of Moorish culture at the magnificent Alhambra Palace in Granada, says Pavlus’ Steudle. “Also, how about delectable cuisine and Roman history in Cartagena, Spain? That’s also offered on this remarkable itinerary.”
Next, the ship sails for London and on to Norway’s pristine landscapes. “A big plus is the opportunity to view both snowcapped peaks and icy fjords while, at the same time, searching for the Aurora Borealis, a mesmerizing phenomenon.”

New Viking Cruises: “Viking Homelands, Shores & Fjords”

Journey through the Baltic Sea, follow ancient trade routes of the Viking Age and also call at prominent cities of the Hanseatic League. That’s the focus of this robust, 22-day itinerary.
Sailing from Stockholm, Sweden, to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, guests can tour the UNESCO-listed old town of Tallinn, Estonia, and immerse themselves in many Scandinavian destinations.
Overnight stays in Copenhagen, Denmark, as well as in both Oslo and Bergen, Norway, provide plenty of time for touring, cultural or culinary programs ashore, and more.
In addition, heading to southern Norway, travelers will see dramatic, pristine fjords and snow-capped mountains.
