A Snapshot Look at Cunard Line’s Lovely New Queen Anne

Two weeks ago, The Meandering Traveler stepped briefly aboard the new Queen Anne, the latest Queen in the Cunard Line fleet. Yes, we spent one night on the new, 2,996-passenger vessel, the fourth ship in Cunard’s current fleet.

But while there wasn’t enough time aboard for a proper review, this lovely lady truly enchanted us. We absolutely loved the ship — from the grand atrium to the Queens Room, from the magnificent theater to the elegant Britannia restaurant, from the top deck pickleball court and pampering spa to the high-end dining spaces – the Princess Grill and Queens Grill.

Racing from spot to spot, trying to see the new Queen Anne in less than 18 hours (seven of those sleeping!), we quickly snapped a few photos.

So, we hope these give readers a bit of a snapshot look at what to expect if you sail on Cunard’s newest Queen. So, here you go!

4. Our Princess Suite – Deck 9

Here’s a look at our deluxe Princess Suite on Deck 9. We settled in nicely here and enjoyed the added space in the living area, which was more roomy than many balcony cabins we’ve had recently on other lines.

We also loved the carpeting. It added a refreshed, modern look (elegant yet bold) to the accommodations.

The Queens Room is a classic, elegant throwback to the Golden Age of Cruising with its dance floor and spacious lounge feel, but it also has a fresh look and feel with the carpet design. Photo by Susan J. Young.

We’ll provide a few other snaps in an upcoming blog — including photos of the magnificent theater, the Queens Grill and Britannia Club restaurants, and more.

Other Cunard Line ships also have new options. For instance, The Meandering Traveler previously covered the new 2025 itineraries for Queen Elizabeth.
