Uniworld Adds Dates — “Paris & Normandy” on November 10, 2024

Beginning and ending in Paris, France, one additional, eight-day “Paris & Normandy” cruise will set sail this fall. Certainly, one factor in this itinerary’s popularity is this year’s commemoration of the 80th anniversary of World War II’s D-Day landings in Normandy.

Cruisers can visit those storied beaches, explore museums, see war cemeteries and learn about World War II history. But they’ll also have enticements at Paris, Rouen and Giverny to explore.

More Itinerary Draws

During this itinerary, guests can tour the opulent Palace of Versailles, once Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette’s home. Cruisers also can explore Château de La Roche-Guyon, Rouen’s medieval capital, and visit Monet’s home in Giverny.

Active travelers might play a round of golf atop the cliffs of Etretat, perched high above the sea; travelers have a choice between two nine-hole loops. Or, in Paris, active travelers can enjoy biking along the Seine.

Also in Paris, cruise guests might opt to take in a show at the Moulin Rouge or explore the Musee du Louvre, the world’s largest art museum.

At press time, this newly added Uniworld departure on November 10, 2024, started at $3,199 per person, double occupancy. That offers good value compared with earlier 2024 departures of this same itinerary.
